Condolence: I knew Rick many years ago...meeting him over the phone as I sold parts for some of the machines he had in his arcade business. In the early 90s we met in Washington D.C. as he was driven to visit the Viet Nam War Memorial. I'll never forget how he kneeled in front of the Memorial in the heat of the summer, for what seemed like hours. Not sure why I started to try and find him again, but was saddened to find this obit. He leant me money once for a used car, when I was raising 3 kids on my own without a pot to pee in, or a window to throw it out of. I was supposed to meet him again at one time, but it never materialized. I guess he was just one of those people that I connected with for only a brief time, but was never forgotten. This saddened me.
