Obituary for Priscilla A. Klinger
Mrs. Priscilla A. Klinger, age 89 years, of Jefferson City, Mo. passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.
Priscilla was born on March 14, 1929 in St. Louis, Mo. a daughter of Lewis W. and Cecelia F. (Bomparte) Straub. She was married on February 13, 1964 to Allen L. Klinger, who preceded her on September 9, 1993.
A long-time resident of the central Missouri area, she was a 1948 graduate of Jefferson City High School.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed being involved with the Evening Circle at the church.
As a homemaker Priscilla took great pride in doing things for others. She always had a positive outlook on life and possessed a caring nature. Among her favorite things to do were listening to music or watching classic movies.
Survivors include: many loving friends from church and our community.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A Celebration of Priscilla’s Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Dr. David Henry officiating.
Priscilla’s wishes were to donate her remains to medical science for educational and scientific research purposes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Peru Mission Fund of First Presbyterian Church, 324 Madison St., Jefferson City, Missouri 65101
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
