Maxine Humphreys  Wilmsmeyer
Maxine Humphreys Wilmsmeyer, age 95, a former Jefferson City resident, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in Lake Saint Louis, Mo.

Maxine was born January 15, 1923 in Agricola, Ks. the daughter of Homer E. and Mary Edna (Robacker) Robbins.

She was married on April 19, 1946 in Williamsburg, Ks. to Raymond J. Humphreys who preceded her in death on January 30, 1991. On April 6, 2002 in Kansas City, Mo., she married Victor G. Wilmsmeyer who preceded her in death on May 25, 2010.

Maxine was employed as the Assistant Director of Food Services for the Jefferson City Public Schools for over twenty years until her retirement.

Maxine was a woman of faith and a member of the United Methodist Church. A longtime resident of Jefferson City, she was active with Shiloh United Methodist Church.

Family was always the focal point of her life and she cherished spoiling her grandchildren. During her free time she enjoyed fishing, dancing, playing cards and playing the marimba.

Survivors include: three children, Barbara Belt and her husband David of Lake Saint Louis, Mo., Karen Scheidt and her husband Mike of St. Louis, Mo., and Jim Humphreys and his wife Susan of Hannibal, Mo.; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Raymond and Victor; three sisters, Reva Robbins, Fern Blankenbeker, and Mildred Bunge; and one brother, Warren Robbins.

Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Dr. David Belt officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Shiloh United Methodist Church, 2380 State Road AA, Holts Summit, Mo. 65043.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
