Obituary for Gayle Krueger (Spradling)

Gayle Norene Krueger, 71, Tebbetts, Mo., passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 1, 2018, as a result of the world’s leading cause of death: birth.

She was born on November 30, 1946 in Pacific, Mo. the oldest daughter of her late parents: Thomas Logan Spradling and Freda Louise Ruble.

Gayle was a 1964 graduate of Van-Far High School, Vandalia, Mo. She was an early President of the Missouri Pacific Railroad Credit Union in Jefferson City. She served as the Executive Director of the Missouri League of Nursing Home Administrators between 1985 and 1996. As a licensed Nursing Home Administrator she spent subsequent years in a management capacity for an assisted living company – Lifecare LLC. She concluded her employment years with the Farmer Companies of Jefferson City.

Gayle is survived by her husband of twenty years, Keith Krueger. She is also survived by three daughters: Susan Savic of Fairway, Ks., Amy Sprenger (Chris) of Jefferson City, Mo., Elizabeth Arango (John) of Houston, Tx.; two stepchildren: Kate Maina (Cris) of Washington, DC and Nick Krueger of Honolulu, HI; five grandchildren: Stefan Savic, Sofia Savic, Ruby Sprenger, David Arango and Lucia Arango; her siblings: Mary Keeney (Don) of Columbia, Mo. and Thomas (Diane) Spradling of Vandalia, Mo. and their children.

Gayle is remembered by friends and family alike for her uncensored love of life. Her engaging personality brought joy to many and she will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Visitation will be held at Freeman Mortuary from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 3:00 p.m. in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Beau Underwood officiating.

A private family inurnment will be held at Riverview Cemetery.
