Obituary for Betty Moll

Betty  Moll
Mrs. Betty Jane Moll, age 76 years, of Jefferson City, Mo. passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at her home.

Betty was born on January 14, 1941 in Decatur, Illinois a daughter of Carl and Clare (Coburn) Humphries. She was married on April 13, 1963 in St. Louis, Mo. to Fred Moll, who preceded her in death on August 10, 1990.

A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, Betty was always passionate about helping others so she loved being a home caregiver for many years.

Her life revolved around her family. She took great joy in her new great-granddaughter, enjoyed watching the Cardinals play baseball, and spent many countless hours watching her granddaughters play sports in high school.

Survivors include: one daughter, Lisa Wilbers and her husband Brian of Jefferson City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Scheppers and her husband David, Staci Niekamp and her husband Derick and Kimberly Wilbers, all of Jefferson City, Mo; and one great-granddaughter, Henley Scheppers.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 27 years, Fred; one brother, Truman Cook; one sister, Barbara Humphries; and her significant other, Glenn Russell.

Private graveside services and interment will be held at Hickory Hill Cemetery in Hickory Hill, Mo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jefferson City Animal Shelter.
