Obituary for Judy Fritsch

Judy  Fritsch
Mrs. Judith E. Fritsch, age 78 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday, August 5, 2017 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital.

Judy was born March 5, 1939 in Washington, Mo. a daughter of Edward and Gladys (Bledsoe) Wilson. She was married on August 3, 1973 in Miami, Oklahoma to Anthony R. Fritsch.

A resident of the Jefferson City area since 1965, Judy was a 1957 graduate of Belle High School Belle, Mo.

She was employed as the Office Manager with the Missouri Public Service Commission for thirty-six years prior to her retirement in 1997.

She was a member and past president of the Cole County Young Democrats.

Judy enjoyed cooking, reading, playing cards, and traveling to many locations including Hawaii, Florida and enjoyed their condo at the Lake of the Ozarks. She cherished time with family especially with her grandchildren.

Survivors include: her husband of forty-four years, Tony Fritsch; two children, Jack Allen Oliver and his wife Kathy of Jefferson City, Mo., and Keelie Fritsch Gardner and her husband Bud of Jefferson City, Mo.; four step-children, Lisa Fritsch of Jefferson City, Mo., Lauri Fritsch of Maui, Hawaii, Leanne Fritsch of St. Louis, Mo. and Tony Fritsch of Columbia, Mo.; one sister, Mintie Myers and her husband Ron of Tampa, Florida; and two grandchildren, Brady Gardner and Addisyn Gardner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jack Wilson.

Private services will be held at Freeman Mortuary.
