Obituary for John F Upton
Mr. John F. Upton, age 94 years, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico, Mo.
John was born March 13, 1923 in Olean, Mo. the son of John F. and Ora Birdsong Upton. He was married on July 8, 1965 in Linn, Mo. to Gladys Bonnot Brown who preceded him in death on December 13, 2001.
He served in the Unites States Army during World War II.
Survivors include Step-children Jane Bickel, Holts Summit, Mo and family, Dr. Jerry W Brown, Waynesville, Mo, Jack D. Brown, Holts Summit, Mo, Jo Ann Laux, Jefferson City, Mo, and family, Don A. Brown, Holts Summit, Mo and family, Bill Brown, St. Louis, Mo and family. Other survivors include relatives and friends including close friend Marvin Bickel, Jefferson City, Mo.
Private graveside services and interment will be conducted at the Olean Cemetery in Olean, M0.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
