God called Alma “Tootie” Irene (Lees) Vogt home on Monday, May 1, 2017.

Alma Irene Vogt was born in Versailles, Mo. as Alma Irene Lees on August 14, 1920. She was born to Nephi Alexander and Ruth Elizabeth (Naylor) Lees. She had three sisters.

Family members and friends called her “Tootie”…her favorite hobby was fishing.

To that union one daughter was born, Mary Elizabeth (Mary Beth) Vogt Bailey, now residing in Lakewood, Colorado.

Tootie was a lifelong resident of the central Missouri area and lived most of her adult life in Jefferson City assisting her husband in their privately owned business, The Vogt Sewing Machine Company.

She is survived by: her daughter, Mary Beth and son-in-law Mike Bailey; two grandchildren, Todd Bailey of Austin, Texas and Shannon Bailey Drogsvold of Arvada, Colorado; and three great-grandchildren, Isabel Bailey, Anna Elizabeth and Dax Drogsvold.
