Mrs. Marilyn J. Ringland, age 74, of Holts Summit, Mo., died Sunday April 9, 2017 at her home.
She was born on October 18, 1942 in Cole County, Mo. the daughter of Delmar A. Fischer and A. Arlene (Bates) Fischer. She was married on November 16, 2002 in Bradenton, Fl. to James G. “Jim” Ringland, III who preceded her in death on November 4, 2014.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, she graduated from Russellville High School in Russellville, Mo. in 1960.
Marilyn was a beautician for 10 years and later worked for Employment Security in Jefferson City, Mo.
She was a member of The Lake of the Ozarks Elks Lodge #2517 and the Ladies Auxiliary #2657 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Fulton, Mo.
Marilyn and her husband Jim both loved their cats.
Survivors include her mother, A. Arlene Bates of Versailles, Mo.; three stepchildren, Michael Ringland of Laurel Hills, Fl., Monica Ringland of Marietta, Ga., and James Ringland of Mableton, Ga.; four grandchildren, Nathan Ringland and Jadon Ringland both of Marietta, Ga., Alina Joan Ringland of Greensboro, NC, and James E. Ringland of Laurel Hills, Fl.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her father and her husband.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
