Obituary for Glen A. Wallace

Glen A.  Wallace
Mr. Glen A. Wallace, age 89 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, January 26, 2017 at River City Living Community.

Glen was born September 6, 1927 in Lanes Prairie, Mo., a son of the late James and Julia (Dooley) Wallace. He was united in marriage in Salem, Arkansas to Pauline Gummert.

Glen attended Salem High School and served in the United States Navy during World War II.

A resident of the Jefferson City area since 1948, Glen and Pauline owned and operated Wallace Dental Lab, Inc. for over forty years prior to their retirement in 1996.

Glen loved spending time at his farm near Tuscumbia, Mo. with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing pool and cards.

Survivors include: his wife Pauline; three sons; Robert G. Wallace and Mary of Jefferson City, Mo. Rick J. Wallace and Heidi of Jefferson City, Mo. and Dr. Stan G. Wallace and Jan of La Quinta, California; two brothers; Charles Eugene Wallace of Springfield, Mo. and Dr. Carl J. Wallace of Fresno, California; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Reba Cabanaw, Retha Castleman, and Veta Cairns.

A private graveside services and interment were conducted on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Riverview Cemetery with the Reverend Murl Nash officiating
