Faye A.  Looten
Mrs. Faye A. Looten, age 92 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Oak Tree Villa Nursing Center.

Faye was born April 29, 1924 in Madison, Nebraska the daughter of Den H. and Minnie (Baker) Rogers. She was married in 1939 to Earl E. Trube, Sr. who preceded her in death on November 20, 1945. On September 7, 1949 in Jefferson City, Mo., she married Norman “Slick” Looten who preceded her in death on August 19, 2013.

A resident of the Jefferson City area for most of her life, Faye was employed with the International Shoe Factory and in 1972 went to work for the State of Missouri. She was employed as an account clerk for twenty-five years with the Division of Family services until her retirement in 1997.

She enjoyed bowling and loved being outdoors with her family, especially all the trout fishing trips to Montauk State Park and canoeing on the Current River. She was very creative and enjoyed tole painting and making ceramics for craft shows around central Missouri.

Survivors include: one daughter, Sandra Siebeneck (husband Bill) of Jefferson City, Mo.; one son, Earl E. Trube, Jr. (wife Merrily) of Jefferson City, Mo.; one granddaughter, Leslie Franklin (husband Rick) of Jefferson City, Mo.; four grandsons, Robert “Rob” Siebeneck (wife Christy) of Jefferson City, Mo., Christopher “Chris” Trube (wife Shelly) of Jefferson City, Mo., Scott Trube (wife Rita) of Columbia, Mo., and Timothy “Tim” Trube (wife Amy) of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; two step-granddaughters, Andrea Schulte (husband Mike) of Overland Park, Kansas and Danielle Wilbers (husband Wes) of Taos, Mo.; one step grandson, Patrick Fick (wife Jamie) of Rich Fountain, Mo.; seven great-grandchildren, Courtney and Austin Siebeneck, Cruise and Paige Trube, Gage, Kegan, and Eli Trube; nine step great-grandchildren, Maddie, Gavin, Sam and Matthew Schulte, Grant and Joey Wilbers, Henry and Kate Fick, and Jimmy Franklin; three step great-grandchildren and two step great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, and two brothers, Vernon and Gayle Rogers.

Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2016.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Russ Bowder officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Calvary Lutheran High School, 2525 State Hwy. B, Jefferson City, Mo. 65101.
