Obituary for Connie Baker (Walker)

Connie  Baker (Walker)
Mrs. Constance W. “Connie” Baker, age 64 years, of Jefferson City, MO passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born on August 6, 1952 in Blytheville, AR a daughter of William and Roberta (Myers) Walker. Connie lived the majority of her life in Arkansas and graduated from Glenwood High School and the University of Arkansas Little Rock.

She was married on June 1, 1991 in Little Rock, AR to Dr. Marion “Bo” Baker.

Connie was employed as an Insurance Adjuster for Progressive and was also a Floral Designer.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in California, MO. Connie volunteered with Dreams to Reality and was an avid supporter of RACS.

Survivors include: her husband, Dr. Bo Baker of Jefferson City, MO; her sister, Sara (Joseph) Meneley of Fayetteville, AR; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gilbert and Jeanette Rank; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Maxwell Walker.

Private family services will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jefferson City Animal Shelter.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
